Hi Deviants my real name is Rachel and i'm a crazed sugar addict that loves disney/Pixar. It's actually become a huge dream of mine to work at PIXAR after College! The idea of working there sprung about 8 years ago when I was watching either A Bug's Life or Toy story and thought to myself "wow wouldn't it be amazing to bring heart warming funny animations into everyones homes and touch them like they did me" I believe 5 seconds after that I turned it down with "Haha yeah right! Me?! work at Pixar, what a joke." I awoke something that day and ever since my dream to work there has grown so much everyday. Though I admit its been hard to keep confidince in myself along the way, I realize whenever i feel like i can't do this I think of all the people who've done such amazing things when it seems like you can't or as if the worlds on your shoulders they reminded themselves of what their dreams were and pushed themselves til they got there. I'd have to say that John Lasseter is one of my inpirations he never gave up even after he was fired from Disney and kept going for it and now he's got about the best animation company ever created. I watched the movie of how PIXAR all got started, I was breath taken and can't even discribe how happy I felt! I had no clue that it had been such a struggle and about 10 minutes into the movie I just all of a sudden started balling crying thinking "I cant do this there's no way i'm good enough" and cried about almost the whole movie and it hit me no matter how much people tell you your not good enough or you get fired and you feel like the worlds stripped you of everything you have remember you still have your dream and the heart to make it come true..that was a total Cinderella quote that was completely unintentional. heh well I'm not there yet but I can feel it and I will be soon A quote that I have been going by though is "If you can dream it, you can do it.
